No Child Left Behind
| This web page, developed in response to a letter sent to all schools from the U.S. Secretary of Education, provides links to the U.S. Federal Government web site for President Bush's "No Child Left Behind" Program. In addition, there is a link to a booklet entitled " Personal Safety for Children, A Guide for Parents" (see note below) which was developed for the White House Conference on Missing, Exploited and Runaway Children held in October 2002. The guide offers practical advice to help families and communities protect their children from harm. Copies are available electronically from the St. Therese web site, or the U.S. Government web site www.NoChildLeftBehind.gov; additional copies can also be ordered by calling 1.877.4ED.PUBS or by emailing your request to edpubs@inet.ed.gov. A copy is also located in the St. Therese School Library. |
