The 150th Anniversary of Saint Thérèse’s Birth

On October 15, 2023, a letter from Pope Francis titled "C’est La Confiance” was released to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the birth of St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus and the Holy Face. The subtitle of the letter is “On Confidence in the Merciful Love of God.” In the letter he speaks of “countless graces bestowed on the faithful who invoke her intercession” and of her little way of trust and complete confidence in the love of God. He encourages us, the faithful, to imitate her and place all our trust in Jesus instead of in our own strength and abilities.

We encourage you to read the entire letter and benefit from the Holy Father’s insights into the spirituality of this amazing saint of Carmel.

Catholic Answers is an apostolate dedicated to serving Christ by bringing the fullness of Catholic truth to the world. We help good Catholics become better Catholics, bring former Catholics “home,” and lead non-Catholics into the fullness of the faith.

Here are some recent articles from Catholic Answers Magazine:

Catholic Answers Live can be heard weekdays from 6pm - 8pm on Sacred Heart Radio (AM 740 or 910), on YouTube, and EWTN radio.

One of the things that characterizes the human person is that we alone, of all the creatures on earth, ask questions.  Questions of ultimate significance.  Questions that shape the way we think, the way we speak, and the way we live.  For all of these questions, Christ is the Answer!  He did it all so that you and I can share in God's own abundant, divine, and eternal life and joy.

Christ is the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE.  He is the image of the invisible God.  He points us to our destiny.  He reveals the dignity of the human person.  He is the one who makes known the Father.  Christ is the Answer!  Take some time to listen to Fr John Riccardo's radio program, Christ is the Answer!  You will be glad you did.
