At St. Therese Parish, we strive to be disciples of Jesus Christ and proclaim His Gospel to others. We serve one another in a spirit of stewardship by using our gifts and talents, glorifying God in little ways.
Altar servers play an important role in the liturgy, assisting the priest and deacon in preparing and presenting the sacred elements during Mass. Whether lighting the candles, carrying the processional cross, or assisting with the preparation of the altar, servers contribute to the reverence and solemnity of the celebration of the Eucharist.
Students at our parish school are trained to serve at Mass, but we also welcome adults and other children from the parish to participate in this special ministry. Training is provided for all, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and prepared.
If you are interested in becoming an altar server, please contact the parish office for more information at parishoffice@sainttherese.ws or 859-441-1654.
